I guest-starred on TWIK & Book 2 is out!

TWIK Chintamani Stone podcast cover

Aloha!

First of all, the ebook release of The Island on the Edge of Forever went very smoothly, and I’m happy to say that within the first 36-hours after release, the book already has 8 reviews, averaging 4.8 out of 5 stars. (I made a page about the book illustrating this.)

For what it’s worth, it took book 1 roughly a month to reach that point. Not bad!

Guest Starring on Shows

Also, in case you missed it, I guest starred in an episode of “That Which is Known”, a podcast run by excellent indie author and reviewer Michael Coorlim. My episode is a 7-minute primer on one of the most interesting subjects ever: The Chintamani Stones.

As you probably know, the Chintamani Stones play a huge role in the Epic of Aravinda series, and I had a blast researching and recording this episode. Turns out, the real history of the Chintamani was even more fascinating than I ever realized. My episode has its own page here: TWIK018: Andrew M. Crusoe on Chintamani Stones

More to come soon. I’m hard at work on outlining book 3 and preparing the paperback version of THE ISLAND for release soon. Thanks for continuing to share these updates. It really helps out an indie author!

A serious question: Would you be interested in seeing monthly income updates from my book & audiobook sales? The numbers are not even close to where they’re going to be (and it fluctuates), but I’ve heard how other authors have posted their income and noticed that it increases when they’re more transparent about it. Perhaps because they’re more pressured to do more advertising and think of themselves more as a business (which they are)?

What do you think? Comment in the box below, and I’ll respond. 🙂

with a galaxy of gratitude,
Andrew Crusoe
