One Byteful Year

Yesterday and 1 year ago, the first article was published to the Byteful Project.

In that time, the Byteful Project has come a long way. Over the past year, the Byteful Project has launched Byteful Gallery, Byteful Video, and more recently redirected its focus into Byteful Travel. And I’ve had the pleasure of networking with some great people. Once again, thanks and a big mahalo to everyone who helped this site grow!

When I first created the Byteful Project, I had much to learn about spreading the word; but over time I’ve received some excellent advice from experienced people in the blogging field. A special thanks goes out to Steve Pavlina for his inspiration. His insight has been invaluable.

Through a greater web presence, the Byteful Project is poised to grow greatly over the next year. As prime creator of the Byteful Project, I can tell you the adventure has just begun.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to one byteful year!

3 bits on One Byteful Year

  1. Travel is such a great “theme” or focal point because, really, it can cover so much territory, geographic as well as psychological/spiritual/intellectual. In fact, one of my favorite aspects to physical travel is the exploration of the psyche that for me accompanies it. It’s a two for one experience, or even a three or four for one!

Congratulations and a big hug for the one year birthday! Love, Rox

  2. @Karly Nope I didn’t make cake. I prefer pie anyway. 🙂

@Rox Thank you so much, Rox! And excellent point. It’s true, travel can be a very flexible niche, but I hadn’t considered it an exploration of the psyche. I’ll be sure to keep that in mind as I progress! Reminds me of this quote:

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. – Marcel Proust

Oh, and a happy 2nd birthday to Beachwalks, too!
