Just a quick update today, to say that this blog just celebrated its 3rd birthday! Yep, three years ago on Friday, I wrote the first post here, entitled “Anniversary.”

Looking back on that post now, it’s interesting recalling that I felt I honestly had no choice about writing my first book. It was something inside of me that had to come out. Anyway, worth reading.

Also! Worth mentioning is that I recently completely revamped the Aravinda Loop bonus page. Now, for the 1st time, you’ll actually get the entire text of my highly-rated novelette “The Loveliest Abyss in the Universe,” provided to you in Kindle & universal EPUB formats.

Frankly, I’m stoked.

“The Loveliest Abyss in the Universe”, probably the darkest story I’ve ever written, just went on sale over at Amazon.

And it isn’t computer-generated, either. I took that photo at a lava lake on the Big Island of Hawaii. I modified the color balance, of course, but those shapes were real.

Coming in at just under 11,000 words, this is also my 1st novelette. (If you haven’t read a novelette before, this is roughly 1/7th the length of a novel.)

One might call it a quick read, but it’s jam packed with goodness.
