Today I share with you one of the coolest atmospheric phenomena I experienced during my time on the Big Island.
At the time, I called it a “sunstorm” but I’ve since realized that the sun already has little storms of its own. So let’s just call it crazy-spontaneous magical rain, shall we?
Lost? You’ll see what I mean in the video, shot during a particularly lovely, yet bizarre, summer day on Hawaiʻi.
Me: This is weird. It’s full-on raining… I don’t know. I was half-expecting a rainbow or something. Not this time, I guess. You just get one cloud, one cloud decides to drop.
There’s more where that came from! Be sure to check out the wealth of travel videos in the Travel Video category.
