Nepal is impossible to sim up in words, but I was forever changed by my 3 months there. Reel: The Six Realms are great, but do you know about Bhairab!? whoa.
Last year, I was lucky to come across the #SixRealms, depicted in traditional thangka paintings.
I’d never known much about #Bhairab before, which is basically the Nepali equivalent to Shiva. I guess you need a god of the underworld if you’re going to have so many realms — must be a lot to manage! Seriously though, I was humbled by how patient and thoughtful the Nepali people are.
I’m heading to Indonesia soon, but I’m sure life will bring me back to Nepal in the perfect time. I’m so grateful for everything I learned there. 🇳🇵 #ilovenepal #kathmandunepal #thangkapainting
