Makalawena (or Maks as the locals call it) is the most stunning whitesand beach I saw on Hawaii, and possibly the most famous on all of the Big Island.

On our 2nd visit, we were fortunate enough to camp there for a night, but in the morning, the wind threatened to blow our entire tent away!

This is super short, (just 21s) but I’m posting it because it’s just plain FUN.
