As we make our way through my Big Island video journal, we reach another extreme place: Manuka Pit Crater.
Nestled deep within Manuka State Park, the crater formed when lava retreated from underneath the park. Be sure to check out the trees that cling to the edge. They’ve been growing on that precarious edge for years. And how beautiful it was at sunset!
