Photo: Wisconsin Cow Goo shows up even on Hawaii, but at what cost?

Even 4000 miles away, I still run into fermented cow goo from Wisconsin πŸ§€ β€” kind of makes you wonder how much CO2 was released into the air to make this product and then ship it to the most remote population center on the planet, i.e. Hawaii.

Better to buy local.

And on Hawaii we have great options. Not that it’s my first choice, but in a pinch even Target carries island-grown bananas. But of any store, The Locavore Store definitely has the most local options, outside of the farmers markets. If you’re ever on the Big Island, check them out, right at the Hilo Bayfront! πŸ‰πŸ‹πŸ₯‘πŸŠπŸŒΆ
